Play and Human Development

General objective

"To promote the game as an instrument for human development through recreational activities in different areas socio cultural environments"

Since March, 2008 is being carried out the leisure lounge "Mi juegoteca" in the kids hospital Tobar García (Carrillo 315), within the framework of the project "support of the growth of urban sustainable tourism as a tool for development and aid against marginalization and socio-economic degradation in the South of Buenos Aires neighborhoods: La Boca y Barracas", funded by the Lombardia region and executed by ICEI.

The project aims to improve the quality of life of hospitalized children and teenagers, and working on sanitation, offering game spaces that encourage creativity, expression and freedom of emotions, learning and containment.

This is the last activity that is being carried out. Many others that let leisure lounges were installed in Buenos Aires City where carried out since 2003.
